Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran from 2015 until current. For the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played the 13-year old Lebanese American young girl Jasira who experiences a whirlwind of emotions as a result of the U.S. invasion in Iraq in the Gulf War. She was subsequently chosen as one of Variety's 10 actors to watch in 2007. She also played a powerful role in 2009's crime drama Crossing Over. For this the role, she was nominated to win an Independent Spirit Award under the category of the Best Female Leading. Her other film roles include Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of guest TV appearances.
